Lacuna is a point and click puzzle adventure game being developed by students at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. Team Lacuna is comprised of 8 members including myself, as creator & director.
The story of Lacuna is one of two lovers, separated by death and brought back together by the husband's, Rotius', brilliance in the field of mechanical physics and his persistence in examining the cogs of life.
Gameplay in Lacuna is inspired by that of old point-and-click adventure games and presented from a real-time side-scroller perspective.
Visually, the game is a 2D composition, however, every object in Lacuna is litterally "painted" in 3D space - giving players a unique visual experience unlike any other to date.
