The lacuna prototype has been taken off-line for the time being (gossip as you please).

Description

Lacuna is a point and click puzzle adventure game. A prototype of Lacuna was developed by students at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. Team Lacuna was comprised of 8 members including myself as creator, director, and programmer. Development on a polished release of Lacuna is expected to pick up again in Summer of 2014.

The story of Lacuna is one of two lovers, separated by death and brought back together by the husband's, Rotius', brilliance in the field of mechanical physics and his persistence in examining the cogs of life.

Gameplay in Lacuna is inspired by that of old point-and-click adventure games and presented from a real-time side-scroller perspective.

Visually, the game is a 2D composition, however, every object in Lacuna is "painted" in 3D space - giving players a unique visual experience unlike any other to date.
